Day 1: Siem Reap
Our Eco-Trails Asia representative will meet you at the airport. Our guide and driver will take to your hotel for check-in. After a shower and a short rest we will proceed on the bikes to visit the largest religious temple of Angkor Wat. Enjoy the sunset at the Angkor Wat then come back to hotel by minivan to fresh up before dinner at one of the local owned restaurant.

Day 2: Cycling to the World Heritage Site Angkor Wat
Today you will have a chance to visit five temples - Bayon temple, Ta Nei, Preah Khan, Prasat Chrung, and Ta Promh but also to take in breathtaking scenery throughout. You will be riding along the magnificent Angkor moat or cycling through a quintessential Cambodian village, this tour gives you a real insight into daily life here, past and present. Cycle on a top the old city wall of Angkor Thom once inhabited by over one million citizens, and through the lush shady forests which lead you to the more hidden and undisturbed temples. Cycle to the Kiriminon village and spend an overnight there.

Day 3: Cycling day and more temples
After breakfast our cycling tour guide will lead you to Beng Mealea temple. This is a very interesting temple that is being admired by many tourists. Beng Mealea temple was built in the 12 century, the layout and style of Beng Mealea is very similar to Angkor Wat. Its current state, however, is dominated by jungle. Trees have grown out of the towers and vines entangle columns. Lintels and others building blocks lay around in a tumble and require visitors to climb up and down as they approach the completely collapsed central towers. This is how the early expeditions must have found the temples of Angkor. Enjoy lunch at one of the restaurant near the temple. In the afternoon you tour guide will take you with your bikes to the support vehicle to be transferred back to Kompong Pluk – the flooded forest community on the Great Lake, Tonle Sap to experience the village life. Enjoy dinner at the home stay.

Day 4: Cycling to the Rolous Temple and more
After breakfast early in the morning cycle 26 kilometers to Rolous to visit Bakong temples and the scarves weaving family on the way. Also you will be able to stop by the Pottery barn to see how the clay pots are made. After that cycle back to Siem Reap and on the way you will be able to see the vegetable gardens where local people grow the supplies to the markets in Siem Reap.

Day 5: Kulen Trek
We will start after breakfast by car towards Phnom Kulen National Park, about 65 km. On the way we willvisit the reclining Buddha which was built in the 16th century Buddhist monastery. It is a sacred site and pilgrims from all over Cambodia come here to worship.Today we will follow remote paths through tropical forest, cashew nut plantations, along wild lychee trees and the Cambodian villages. Lunch in a box, dinner cooked on the camp fire. After dinner we will experience a night walk with the hope to see some night creatures.

Day 6: Kulen Trek
After breakfast, set up everything for packing and continue trekking to Kbal Spean. Lunch on the way. Enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain. The van will pick us up at Kbal and transfer back to Siem Reap. Fresh up at the hotel, before heading to town for dinner.

Day 7: Bantey Srei, Butterfly Garden and the Landmine museum
This morning set off with your guide to Banteay Srei, the intricately carved temple just 30 km beyond Angkor Wat. On your way back to town stop at the Butterfly garden and after that stop at Landmine Museum, a rather humble look at the land mine problem, past and present, in Cambodia. In the late afternoon transfer to the airport for the outbound flight.
