Cambodian - or Khmer - New Year is celebrated between April 13.-16. or 14.-17., just after the harvest time. It is a good opportunity to visit Cambodia and to take part in 'Angkor Sankranti'. Angkor Wat a Bayonne Temples will be lit up for the occassion. It is also a good time to endulge in Khmer cuisine - the celabrations can't take part without great dishes!
The first day is Maha Songkran, the second Virak Wanabat and the third day is called Tngay Lean Saka.
